david blaine is a dumbass
Did you know David Blaine was immersed in a spherical aquarium for the past week? I didn't. What the hell is wrong with that guy? He used to be a fantastic street magician. Now he just does these incredibly stupid endurance tests.
David Blaine: "I'm gonna bury myself for a week!"
Everyone Else: "Well, that's kinda magical, okay, go for it!"
David Blaine: "Okay, get this, now I'm gonna stay inside a block of ice for a week."
Everyone Else: "Hmm, well, that's definitely difficult...and magicians use ice a lot, so, okay cool!"
David Blaine: "I'm gonna sit in a box in the sky for a month, with no food and little water!"
Everyone Else: "That's rough. The fact that you're suspended in air is intriguing."
David Blaine: "Oooh, I got it, now I'm gonna balance on a tall pillar for 24 hours!"
Everyone Else: "Say what? Okay, you lost me there, man. I'm not saying I'd be able to do it but..."
David Blaine: "Did I mention I'll end it by jumping into a small pile of cardboard boxes?"
Everyone Else: "Umm...good luck with that."
David Blaine: "Hey New York! I'm going to now immerse myself into a tank of water for a week!"
Everyone Else: "Go to hell."

What a dumbass. No longer a magician, he's on to becoming a Guiness Book (or Ripley's?) challenger for human endurance.
Didn't he say several years ago that learning the magic trade changed his life and put him on the straight and narrow? Guess that failed....
