PUDDING!
Remember when I used to work at Pudding It First in Brookline, Mass? I was so proud of having worked at, what I believed, the world's only pudding restaurant.
But lo! Boo came back from his trip with news of a NEW pudding story that has opened up in NYC! It's called Rice to Riches. While I still think Pudding It First was a better name, this new place....well, it's pretty freakin' cool. PIF was very much a "mom & pop" kinda place. This new place takes pudding to a WHOLE nother level! Check out their crazy website!

My wife and I LOVED "Pudding It First" and were very sorry to see it go out of business. We still have one of the souvenir coffee mugs.
I did a search on Google and there is another shop with the same name in South Carolina. Any relation to the Brookline shop? I don't know.

From what I gather, the PIF in S. Carolina was from a few years earlier. Could be wrong, though. All I know is the owner of the store by the Coolidge Corner was charged with embezzlement or something. When I came back from Christmas vacation, the store was closed and I was out of a job. Still got my t-shirt & cap, though!
