Body Worlds

I just got back from the Body Worlds exhibit at the Cali Science Center. If you're in the LA area between now and January 23, 2005 you've GOT to go. This doctor took a bunch of bodies donated to science, dissected them, and used a plasticine process to pose the corpses in various positions, showcasing different parts of the body. There's a body of a runner, posed as if running, with all his ligaments and muscles all splayed out, like fleshy trails to the suspended motion. It's incredibly fascinating (and a little nauseating).
Try not to go on the weekend, though. It was extremely busy and we had to wait on line for a half hour, just to get our tickets! I'm going to try to go again during the weekday.
